Aporia’s Interior
Yep. It has been quite some time. Feels kind’ve weird swinging back into things. I’ve spent a fair amount of time figuring out what my plans were before Dawntrail. Well they are quite the doozy. I’ll toss a list.
- Reach level 90 with Scholar
- Reach level 90 with Fisher
- Craft 100 grade 3 and 100 grade 2 wheels of confrontation
In truth, the first two are fairly simple to achieve. All that matters is me actually going out of my way in accomplishing them. The problem comes with the wheels. So to give some context about wheels of confrontation.
There are Free Company (FC) actions in which a person of sufficent permission can activate, which gives a buff for 24 hours to all members. Typically, most FCs will probably just buy them at the grand companies. However you can craft them through the FC Workshop as wheels. In fact, only grade/tier 3 buffs can be crafted. The downside being that crafted wheels need to be charged over the course of days. Grade 1 wheels only take a day but they go up an additional day per grade.
The problem with all of this is that I want to craft 100 grade 3 wheels of confrontation. While the recipe is simple for only a few. 100 of them will require over 2400 electrum ore and 300 duskborne aethersand (plus a few more things but those are the most annoying). Unfortunately, they aren’t cheap to buy and I would have to travel between worlds to get the requiste amount which I ain’t doing.
It all boils down to the fact that I’ve been putting it off for a long long time now. There’s also the fact that I want to get the pterandon mount but thats a whole other problem that I’ll wait after Dawntrail for.
I’ve hit a point where there’s just a lot of grinding that needs to be done in the game and I so happen to stop right around when all I had left to do was those. Months later and I’m bashing my head for my foolishness. Oh well. So much to do in the game now.
Still. I’m quite glad for all of these ridiculous objectives of mine. I will just have to tackle them a bit at a time and take plenty of breaks.
So. I’m still left with a lot I want to talk about due to the whole being gone for months thing. It will be a bit of pain to really sit here and type it all out at once given that I do need to sleep. Something that I might start doing later on is making these posts past midnight so that there isn’t some forced deadline looming over me when trying to get them out.
Oh yeah I should mention this now. I won’t be reaching my original 500 post before Dawntrail (probably a good thing too). I will likely stick with the Endwalker expansion for a while. I don’t intend to force myself on any arbitrary restrictions.
