Oh joy. Apparently, I still didn’t updated that one post with the tags. I also found out right before bed. Yesterday’s post didn’t have an image. It did on the cover post, but not the actual post itself. I made a simple fix for that post mid day. Anyhow, tomorrow is going to be maintenance day for the game.
The current plan is to get a screenshot in the few hours I have before the maintenance starts. Then use it for tomorrow’s post. Mind you it will still be in the same day just not at the same time.
Pointless statements aside. Lets hop on over about today’s screenshot.
Why does this place have to look so dreary? At first I thought it was nice, but a second glance makes me realize the futility of this shot. It makes me a tad sad of how poor the lighting can be in this game. I think they alleviate these problems in future expansions a tad, but still. I do really wonder how the graphical upgrade will change these zones.
I have an inkling that the best screenshots I’ll make are over in Kugane or Doma. Lets make it a bit of a challenge and see if I can top either of those zones.
One thing that I like about this shot is the twin towers off in the distance and the Ala Mhigan out on watch. Its a bit interesting that there’s a vast cliff seperating this one whole zone. I wonder if they designed it that to prevent low level players interacting the high level players during MSQ. Could also be an effective way to introduce two zones in one.
Either way, its still interesting on the seperation between the sections of the zone. I don’t think there’s much else for me to say about this screenshot.
Honestly, I really don’t have too much to talk about. Personally, I like to talk abit about Octopath Traveller 2 abit, but I want to invest in more time before giving out impressions. The most I’ll say is this. Its pretty interesting.
There’s not much going on for me at this moment. Especially with the maintenance around the corner. A part of me wants to both keep playing FFXIV and to stop. Kind’ve conflicted at the moment.
Here’s something random to talk about. Apparently, my pictures folder is so huge now that it takes a moment for my program to load all of the images. Its over 539 images. Thats quite alot. Although, I wonder why it was struggling at the same time. I’lljust archive all of the images and call it a day.
I don’t know why, but I must’ve slept wrong on my wrist. There’s an odd pain going on with it that has suddenly manifested earlier today for me. No idea on how it happened, but lets just hope its nothing major.
