Horizon
Welcome one and all to the bountiful place known as soul suc- I mean tranquil vistas. Some of the creatures present are toads larger than you, floating rocks, cacti and possessed lalafells. Wait that wasn’t meant to be there. Uh…Its clearly not me and instead that one potato that is currently terrorizing everyone in this tiny canyon. Actually, lets just skip on out of here.
Background Image
I spent a some time a couple days ago, working on adding a background image to the homepage. The idea was to give the website some life instead of its solid gray image. Here’s an example below

I had asked some people on what their thoughts were. Only one responded… Unfortunately, the feedback provided was what I had concerns for, noise. The left image is really noisy in comparison to the right. With a blog site that is designed around with text and images. Adding a lot of noise around it can become too distracting. As such, I was somewhat concerned that using a background image would pose too much.
