Hammers
So… I was under the impression that these machincery in Western Thanalan were meant to be mining or pumping. In reality, their purpose is to flatten the land to make it “suitable” for housing. I genuinely wonder if there’s a real world counterpart to these. Aside from these “hammers”, the view to Ul’dah is quite nice. There’s a town behind the image called the Silver Bazaar and another town north called Vesper Bay.
To be honest, I hardly ever visited Silver Bazaar. I think there have been one or two MSQs that directed me there. Then again I didn’t start out in Ul’dah, so story quests may have been different.
Hm… There’s one other area that I’ll probably explore before hopping off too somewhere. Not really sure to be honest. Maybe in the La Noscea area or Black Shroud. After that, I may just venture about the main city states. No promises though. Have a good day.
