Achora Heights
Its a tad difficult to get a shot of this tower. It was even worse when I initially tried it in some form of fog like weather. Don’t know what it was called since it disappeared the moment I went to check. Although, it was making things a pain to get a clear view on this tower. Anyways here we are with this tower. Its the main method of entering and leaving the capitol called Amaurot (I think thats what its called.)
Honestly, I’ve been sitting here waiting for the next lottery phase to open up. Need to place down my bid and wait 5 days hopping I get it. Its gonna be a nuisance considering that there’s no guarantee on me recieving the plot. While its not as bad back when there was no lottery. The suspense of waiting is gonna kill me all week. It will be even worse when I don’t get a plot on my first try and gotta wait again. I’m either going to bid on a plot with no one competing for or everyone is gonna dog pile on. Truthfully, I have no idea which side of the coin I’ll be landing on. Lets just hope that in the end I eventually succeed.
One other thing that I like to mention is that its weird to be holding onto so much gil. I never held on more than 2 million gil since I began playing this game (roughly 2 years). Here I am now able to hold more than that and its a bit odd in a way. Generally speaking, whenever I held more than a million gil it would be eaten away from ever need on gathering materials for the company workshop and trying to get my gear up to par. Now that I no longer have to worry about such things. It just sits there and I have no idea what to do with it. Investing would sound like a great idea, but what can I even invest with in this game? The unfortunate reality is the fact that once you reach a certain mass of wealth. It becomes pointless.
I should be more specific that obtaining more wealth doesn’t really hold all that much value since the game doesn’t really have great ways to sink all of it. Actually, I have no idea what I’m saying right now. What I can say is that once you reach that critical mass. You can practically never worry about any money woes in this game. Our FC has sort’ve achieved a state where it can sustainably achieve that crtical point. In roughly a year of constant voyages. The FC will make about 100 million gil. There are very few things in this game that allows you spend 10s of millions of gil but one of them is purchasing a mansion which the FC already has.
I swear that I’ve been a broken record about gil as of late. I probably said this stuff in my head a million times so I wouldn’t be surprised that its been said somewhere around this blog at some point. With all of that out of the way.
