You whats unfortunate? Its the fact that the insides of these buildings are fairly boring. There’s one that might be different from the others, but I feel like its a bit sad to see how plain and tall everything is. Atleast it still looks neat on the outside.
Aside from that I do want to quickly update my little rant from yesterday’s post. I got added back into the course and apparently there were assignments aside from the quizzes that I took. The problem is that I never noticed them because literally none of the assignments have due dates on them. I’m so use to everything having a due date that when I only saw the quizzes thats all I thought was needed to be completed. Oh well. You live and learn at the same time.
Back to FFXIV. I just now noticed how close I am to reaching Endwalker with these screenshots. 14 posts remain. I won’t deny that I’ve been thinking about making a video once I had completed Endwalker, but haven’t fully decide on how it will work out. Secondly, I aint that great of a video editor so if I do it needs to be fairly simple in scope. I’ve also been itching on continuing my “Preservation videos” since the announcement of Dawntrail and getting some ideas on the graphical changes to the game. The videos themselves were never meant to be popular or special. They merely existed so that those in the future (like 5+ years from now) can get a grasp of what the game had looked like in the past.
A prime example of this is the fact that Mor Dhona has changed significantly over the course of the expansions. I know this because I have friends who played the game since A Realm Reborn and a lot has changed since. Sadly, there aren’t many videos chronicling the changes in any distinct ways. You can see pieces of the old version of Mor Dhona on some videos, but they aren’t common. To be frank, this is more of a ploy to convince myself again on making the videos once more. I had estimated in the past that it would take a year and a half if I do one zone per week to complete. If I hadn’t stop. I would’ve had plenty of time to get the zones before the next major expansion. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case now.
I will probably have to double how many recording sessions I do a week now. For those wondering. The recording sessions do require a fairly active participation on my end. I have to dedicate roughly 3 hours to record all of the footage at once. Otherwise I have to play the stupid game on trying to seamlessly tie the day and night cycles together. I’ve done that before and while people may not care. I do. I Like there to be consistency behind the videos not some sudden changes to the day or weather. It would almost be a perfect way to spend time typing my story, but I would need a third monitor.
