Shadowbringers [5.0]: Post may contain potential spoilers.

Amaurot

This here is what I’ve been avoiding to take a shot of for the past few posts now. The problem is that once this area is revealed to the players its kind’ve hard to not see it.

Side Note: The point of interest from prior post is called Walls of the Forgotten. Still it doesn’t change the fact that it has a weird name.

Moving on from that. This is a rather sad city to look at. Firstly its under the ocean where so much gets buried and lost to time. Secondly, this place is more of a facade created by the machinations of one single man. A man mind you is doing everything in his powers to return the former glory of what he had. Its really a sad outlook on this if it weren’t the fact that when this was all revealed to the “Warrior of Light” (The Player). They are basically a ticking time-bomb and don’t really have all that much time to take in the sights.

A rather bizarre set of cirsumstances in a way. Still it doesn’t beat the fact that this would probably be the closest we would get to a modern depiction of a city in this game. I should also mention that I did use a color filter builtin from gpose. I used “bright 4” to see if it would give more color to the area. This is probably the third time I have ever used the color filters in this game. Being Ishgard and Lavender Beds. I don’t exactly have much intentions in radically changing the looks of the game even with the filters given. Maybe once I complete my run through of all the expansions that I would be more willing to experiment on them.

Anyways, thats all I have for today. I hope you folks have a good day/night!
