This might just take the cake on the longest name for a point of interest. There could be a contender over at the Heavensward Expansion, but can’t recall specifically. Oh wait. “The Supreme Sacred Tribunal of Halonic Inquisitory Doctrine” is the name of a point of interest in Ishgard. I doubt anything will top that for a good while. I think the only reason why I remember that was because of my little video for the Hydaelyn Preservation Project. Was getting all of the names down for each point of interest I recorded.
Anyways, I am a bit annoyed for today. It appears luck was not on my side at all and almost all of the submersibles came back with nothing of value. I only made 135K today and hopefully this poor luck streak doesn’t continue. While I mentioned in the past that 300K should be a reliable number to obtain. That doesn’t mean I won’t get horrible voyages like today. The idea behind these submersible was to simply increase my chances as much as possible to avoid these happening frequently.
The only nice thing to make note of is that since I got three submersibles running the same route and near same stats. These poor rolls shouldn’t happen often. Only one could hope sadly. As long we get something everyday I should be content with that. Still 3 million gil a month isn’t anything to scoff at as a passive income for the entire FC (eventhough I’m the only reaping its rewards at this time). Would be better if it was closer to 10 million, but one can dream.
I’m still at a bit of a loss on what to do with this game. I really want to play FFXIV, but it sucks knowing that my motivation isn’t really there anymore. I’ve been contemplating on doing some fate grinds and setting up a party finder list thing to possibly find some people to enjoy the game with. I would love to do things like raids/trials but setting up a static at this time isn’t all that appealing. I would probably prefer doing something like treasure hunts and deep dungeons in the future though.
My few other friends that do play this game don’t really have it on cycle and would hop on maybe every few days to do roulettes. Almost want to nag them further about hopping on more, but they would just tell me to go and recruit more members for the FC. While not entirely against the idea, hell spent a whole post typing about it. My only issue is that I’m more of a introvert and have quite a bit of anxiety with people I know nothing about. Its also one of the many reasons why I don’t actively spread this blog nor have ways for people to communicate with me.
So yeah thats where I am right now. As mentioned a bit ago, I’m considering on doing Fate grinds as a way to try and interact with others since its a piece of content that is fairly simple to do. I have little desire in using it as way to actively recruit people. Plus I doubt that many people would stay for long lengths of time. Only ones that would is whom need to rank up their shared fates in each zones. The only sad part about this is that fate grinding is a tad more of pain since instances don’t really exist in the current expansion zones and don’t really know how to deal with that. I’ll worry about that for another day though.

Side note: I’ve been considering on reworking my entire blog’s backend once more. There’s a specific reason for it, but I’ll avoid mentioning it at this time. It mainly revolves around how I upload my screenshots to my server. Actually screw it. This has been sitting on the back burning for a good while now. The core reason why I haven’t migrated this to my main website is because I wanted it to seamlessly update both the blog and gallery at the same time, but that requires me redoing my scripts that handle the creation of my posts and such forth.
