Also known as the Village of the Bunnies. Well not really. Mainly a sort of foothold carrying out some order from the bygone era in the First. Not too much to say about this place. Can’t recall too much about it, but I can see some interesting locations to explore around it.
Aside from that, today marks the day where I more or less completed a long-term goal of mine in this game. Thats investing a crap ton of time, resources and gil into the Company Workshop. We are now at 3 fully modified submersibles with the fourth one not being too far behind rank wise. Ultimately, there’s some stuff that can be done with the workshop but I found a satisfying milestone such that I can easily concentrate on other tasks.
Still its sort’ve odd to imagine that I went from having zero crafters and gatherers last year to maxing all of them (excluding fisher) and got the workshop to a stage where the FC can fill its coffers fairly easily. The amount of investment is insane to think. Well I did spent over 1200 hours in this game so far. Probably the most I have every played in a game (tracked that is. Minecraft might still beat it a tad). Goals really help pushing me forward it seems. Sadly, I kind’ve found myself in a bit of a pickle. More accurately, I’m a bit lost on what to do now.
I freakin love the overall idea of the Workshop and really wish that there was more stuff to do with it. It feels weird no longer having to worry about spending 2+ hours crafting 2000 pieces in one sitting for a single Submersible set. I suppose this just means that I get to focus on “simpler” goals
New Pursuits
Honestly, I spent a fair amount of time browsing achievements within the game. I have little interests in things like mounts/minions. Titles sort’ve motivates me a tad, but I personally like the “Crimson Explorer” title. However, I do want something that says I spent way too much time in this game. Pterandon? Pterandon.
For those that don’t know Firmament is a side piece of content for crafters and gatherers. You can obtain a fairly ugly looking mount if you achieve 500,000 points with every crafter and gatherer. You only get like 10 or so points per turn-in sadly. So its a huge grind to do that will probably take over a year to complete. Not so unlike my Workshop venture. Although, I would need to delve a tad on how that stuff works.
One thing that I should mention is that I don’t really intend to do that. I was actually thinking about grinding Fates. Getting to Rank 3 with all of the Zones in Shadowbringers and Endwalker. Along with the achievements for completing specific fates. You would also need to finish 10,000 fates to get one of the titles called “The Fortunate”. I only did 584 Fates so far.
Although, the most simplests of goals for me is to get a dps and tank to level 90 before Dawntrail. I think it was mentioned before that I struggle sticking with a dps job long enough to level cap. I think the furthest I got was with Red Mage at level 72 (Not including Reaper which is at 77). There’s gotta be something I’m missing with dps just haven’t figured out as to why.
