Shadowbringers [5.0]: Post may contain potential spoilers.
The Pristine Palace of Amh Malik
This place belong to some great kingdom right before the wave of light. It seems that the nation fell into ruins shortly after the fact. Would make sense considering this happend over a hundred years ago. Although, I’m a tad annoyed that the vista didn’t give me much info about this palace’s history outside of what happened in Shadowbringers.
Lets move away from that and talk a bit about “real life” instead. I don’t think there’s been any mention on where I work. Well… I don’t intend to go into the specifics but I do work as a manager for a retail store. Nothing special for the most part but to be quite honest, I don’t feel like a managment level position is all that well suited for me.
Although, today was sort’ve one of those exceptions. For some reason we had some kid rolling bowling balls across the store. I payed it no mind since they only had did it twice and didn’t really want to deal with it. I did consider on telling them if they broke anything they will pay for it. Sadly, the product we have didn’t really justify that statement.
Anyways, I just hoped it would pass since the store was about to close but the fools had to do it again and broke a vase. Generally speaking, I try not to cause issues plus I don’t like dealing with them. However for some reason when I heard the vase break my mind snapped within a couple seconds and yelled out to the kids. .
It was a weird feeling in a way. Right after the vase broke my mind gotten fairly fuzzy and I couldn’t really think. I believe I was trying to avoid saying something, but given my position I had to get involved. Probably resulted me mentally breaking down and yelling out to the kids to stop rolling the bowling ball from across the store. It was the first time I ever yelled at a customer to that degree. Thankfully, there was only one other group of customers in the store.
I did apologize to the other customers due to me yelling out. There wasn’t much need on the kids since the parent/guardian started to scold them. Which I’m glad that there was no need to fight them from me snapping. For those wondering, I didn’t say anything rude or spoke in explicitives. I simply just yelled at them to stop and took the bowling ball away from them when I arrived.
I wasn’t prepared to act like that, so I was mentally trying to reel myself back to prevent any thoughts of mine slipping. In hindsight, I probably should’ve walked up to them and more calmly told them to stop but… I think it was fine. No one would’ve complain too much due to my actions.
Anyways, I don’t really intend to talk much about stuff in the real world all that much. Not a very special condition of mine, but its seems to be a fairly important one to me. I hope you folks have a good day/night!
