Shadowbrigners [5.0]: Post may contain potential spoilers.

Well then. I was going to have a post yesterday but when I hoped onto FFXIV. The server was down for maintenance. There was 30 minutes left till deadline and as such couldn’t make a post.
Either way, I’ve been heavily invested on reading books as of late. I read roughly 3-4 books yesterday? Can’t exactly recall. The current series of books I’m reading now is called “To Another World… with Land Mines!”. Its an odd title but its essentially an isekai light novel series. Another series I read was called “D-Genesis: Three Years after the Dungeons Appeared” its primarily about dungeons and how its impact has on a pseudo-Earth in 2018.
They are very fascinating and I’ve liked both of them so far. The D-Genesis one has given me inspiration of fairly neat ideas and while the isekai story one is a nice change of pace from all of the typical tropes that they usually have. I just hope it doesn’t have a flipping harem. So many of these type of stories follow that trope way too hard. So far “To Another World” has proven to deviate from that stuff and has taken a relatively “realistic” story from most others.
Anyways, I’m not much of a reviewer on books or anything. I simply enjoy experiencing new stories or twists on well-established ideas. Some may say that isekai stories are really generic and all, but they have a special place for me since my own story’s foundation rely on travelling between many worlds and realities. Atleast on an astronomical scale (That might be too small of a scale though). Nevertheless, D-Genesis has inspired me on a rather fascinating “mechanism” in my own stories.
While I’m not pulling the idea straight out of their book (atleast with the story presented so far). It has enabled me a new method of altering the status quo.
I’ve may have mentioned it in one of my posts months ago. Still I need to establish some context. The time scale that I work with my own stories are on an insane level. To be more specific, if I were to put all of my stories in chronological order and get the length of time from the very beginning to the current story. We are looking at roughly 14.3 trillion years.
To be quite honest, I only pay attention to 1 trillion years in the past. All of the previous time has a different purpose, i.e., a place where I can throw stories that people despise without me making them non-canonical since all of my stories are relevant in some form.
Anyways, I got to bring this post to an end since the deadline has arrived. I hope you folks have a good day/night!
