Stormblood [4.0]: Post may contain potential spoilers.

Porta Praetoria

So things appear to be much better for me today. My head no longer hurts nor am I sleep deprived. Although, I haven’t gotten back into the groove of things with the blog. It sort’ve sucks when I have to force myself to get back into gear. Which is funny since the moment I go and play some other game, my ability to make these posts plumment.

Lets move away from that right now.

Here we are in Porta Praetoria. No idea what the name entails, but I feel bad for however had to carry those logs for the bonfire. Lets just hope they used some flying contraption. I don’t know if flying chocobos are capable of hauling logs, but even if they did thats a lot of effort for one night. There’s one interesting thing that I like to make note of. Its the orange crystals along the cliff.

Typically, that stuff glows in the night and dimmed at day. However, they don’t appear to possess and luster which makes me wonder if they are devoid of Aether. It could be that the Aether is miniscule or different type of crystals entirely. One things for certain, they ain’t the same like the ones in Ala Ghiri.

Sometimes I kind’ve wish that we were able to enter buildings like the one before us. I wonder what they look like on the inside. It just feels that this game doesn’t have a large amount of interior locations (outside of dungeons that is).

There’s one thing that I like about this zone as a whole. It feels unexplored by me. I haven’t did a huge amount of exploration in this zone and having now spent most of my time in prior zones. Its nice to experience a zone that I haven’t delved into much. Although, the entirety of Stormblood feels like that in a way. I suppose the reason for this is because there’s a huge section that I hardly visited. Its sort’ve bizarre sometimes that the Main Scenario Quests doesn’t always show you the entire zone.

For now though, lets bring this post to a brief end.

Conclusion

Although, I do want to talk about one imporant thing for me right now. There’s a game called Crosscode. Its a little 2D Action RPG that is honestly one of my most favorite games out there. I had beaten the game up to 100% completion once and I’ve been meaning to play the dlc story for the game. My only concerns is that my save file hasn’t been lost. I have one on my cloud storage, but don’t know how far it progressed.

Currently, I’m waiting on GOG Galaxy to sync the save files to my computer. Sadly, GOG Galaxy doesn’t have linux support and might have a few technical issues. Man I haven’t played the game in 2 years and spent over 130 hours in the game. I even got a collector edition of the game. (I have the 1180 copy out of 2000). I recall it costing me 80 bucks for the whole thing and at a glance on ebay. Its selling for a little over 200 dollars now. (Although, I’m concerned now. I didn’t see the keychain that was suppose to be with it. Not 100% certain on where it went.)

Anyhow, thats about all I got for today. I hope you folks have a good day/night!
