Black and White

Although, there seems to be a strong lacking of white.

I finally found a glamour set that feels fitting for what I wanted to achieve. Atleast for a Red Mage. When you think about it, the armor feels more like its meant for close combat than that of range. Then again, Red Mage are typically close to their enemies due to some important abilities. Although, they are primarily a casting job.

Red Mage aside. I kind’ve like the look of the valley down below. I never notice the difference in material between the two. I wonder if this is a natural phenomenon that exists in the real world. It probably does, but never considered it before.

I think with yesterday’s post, sort’ve want to take a bit of a rest. Interestingly, it was the largest post I have done ever. I think previous longest post was about 1600 words, but yesterday’s was 1900. For some reason, I thought that I had already reached 2000 words before till I actually checked my posts. A tad dissapointed with myself.

Anyhow, there’s one major thing I want to discuss about before ending today’s post.

Proofreading

I’m absolute trash when it comes to proofreading my own posts. I’ve been a bit more vigilant recently, but you can still notice errors all around. Unfortunately, its a bit of a challenge to proofread this stuff at times. Simply because by the time I finish typing the whole post. I got 5 minutes left before the deadline. As such, post can easily run into a lot of mistakes.

I can easily fix it by double checking my work, but sometimes I forget to do it. Not only that, I’m someone who doesn’t have a lot of technical know-how when it comes to writing as a whole. Sure I like to write/type and all, but that doesn’t mean I can do it on a professional level. I been meaning to get back into college, yet time and money has been quite the obstacle for me.

So for now, I’ll try to improve my writing as much as I can. Some time down in the future. I might even consider on proofreading my prior posts as well. Although, I won’t be able to do that overnight.

Conclusion

Fun little fact. I learned that you can manually adjust Hugo’s image quality for webp and jpg file formats. By default its at 75%, so I kind’ve just adjusted its value and it appears to have vastly improve the cover images. It unforunately increased the website size, but by only about 120kb. I see it as a win regardless. Although, I might be running into bit of an issue with multiple images per post.

Apparently, yesterday’s post was displaying the exact same image for the website performance results. I checked the links and nothing seemed off, but it was giving the wrong result regardless. I might have to double check how its handling the images, since I could run into an issue where there’s somekind of file limit.

Anyhow, I hope you folks have a good day/night!
