Stormblood [4.0]: Post may contain potential spoilers.

Reunion

Well… Its not really a reunion and more the first time being in this zone known as “The Azim Steppe”

Fun fact, this is the only zone in the entire game that I haven’t obtain flight. This zone is barely explored by myself. I’ve mentioned a few times in the past that Stormblood is the least explored expansion from myself. I really do recommend for those who are experiencing this expansion for the first time. You should take your time. It may come to a day where you might regret blitzing through this one. I know that from experince.

Anyhow, I don’t remember too much of this place, but it appears to be a market of sorts. I don’t think the Garleans are active in this area, but could be wrong. The zone is sort’ve interesting to look at as a whole, but I’ve yet obtained flight to actually know how it looks. I could make a dumb joke where I just never obtain flight for the entire time in this specific zone. Oh yeah, I did discover of an aether current while getting to this little location.

One last thing to mention. The tower that I had climb seems to have terrible steps. The steps themselves require me to jump to reach the next step. Its a bit of a safety hazard.

Solarian

A while back, I had started doing this thing on building a world for a potential “DnD” campaign. However, it was shelved onto the side when one of my friends wanted to try out Foundry for their campaign and it was simply left in the gutter. Now that they haven’t done their stuff for a good while. I believe it may become time to return and talk a tad about that.

To be quite honest, I don’t really remember a huge amount of what I was doing at the time. I do recall some of the key aspects with the world and my original vision. Although, some of the details more than likely got lost in translation. There’s one thing about me that I’m pretty darn confident at. Remembering all of the stories and worlds that I had created. Its so weird sometimes going back over a decade with some of the stuff I’ve worked on. While alot of it has been sitting and collecting dust. There are still aspects of it thriving to this day. Although, I could never seem to escape this lull of mine.

Sorry, my mind just wandered off to some random direction. Then again thats kind’ve how my memory works with my stories. All of the stories and worlds that I created are all interconnected. I created a foundation known as the Zandarium that is designed to accomadate any idea that I find or modify. The Zandarium also serves as way to connect all of these worlds together to the point that a single thought can result in me jumping to a numerous amount of ideas. That is how I defined the Zandarium as “The container of worlds”. Oddly, my blog should realisticlly be called Zandarium and not Solitem since Solitem is meant to instill the idea of multiple Zandariums. Clearly, this blog is maintained by a single person.

The whole reason why I mentioned that is because Solarian is a part of that container and how it maintains thhe connection is through a particular character known as Zous. Zous is a very peculiar character that is suppose to be dead. Thats not even accurate. They are not suppose to exist anymore. Zous became a central character for the latest iteration of the Zandarium and he sacrificed his existence for the future of the Zandarium. I could spend a very long time discussing of the chronological events inside the Zandarium. I will simply take a step away from that and say this. The Zandarium that I speak of is currently, the eleventh iteration. To give you and idea on the scale of time. The entire chronological events from the very beginning and to what is known as the Eleventh Zandarium. Is about 13 trillion years. The current Zandarium has lasted for about 1.2 trillion years. The longest out of them all.

I made a shocking realization just now. I haven’t look at any of my notes in literal years about the Zandarium. I completely had forgot certain concepts simply because they have very little connections to the more active parts of my memory. Oh boy, it was a revelation. I really wished that I have more time to do this post, but it looks like I won’t have enough time to elaborate further. I’ll show this much.

Be mindful of the fact that the last time I’ve typed inside this document was roughly 7 years ago. The document was meant to serve as a guide in detailing every aspect on how the Zandarium functioned. Unfortunately, I spend a lot of time typing and not proofreading. It won’t make the most sense, but its fascinating to me.

A heap of a mess.

“To be quite honest there is nothing special about the Zandarium as anything else that is considered a form of world building. The one concept that does separate the Zandarium and something along the likes of Middle Earth is scale. Within the Zandarium, the scope is extensive to a degree that is difficult to even comprehend without vast knowledge on how this container of worlds works. Middle Earth is astronomically more compressed than the Zandarium. Another concept to mention is that the idea of Zandarium is a form of worldbuilding can be a bit misleading or incorrect. The reason that this is stated is because the Zandarium focuses more of a macro level of worldbuilding. Instead of concentrating about the details like the geography and individual civilizations that could exist. The focus of the Zandarium is more at its foundation, or the main functions of the Zandarium. It’s not lore nor is it really a true form of world building.”

I’ll be brief here. Mind you this was me from 7 years ago (2016). I never really intended for others to read this. It was meant for me in the future when I needed clarification.

So what does this mess means? It boils down that the Zandarium isn’t meant to serve as a typical tool for worldbuilding. It was specifically designed to establish the foundation on how other worlds or “concepts” interact with each other. That is the intent behind the Zandarium. Would I agree with myself 7 years ago? Not entirely. There’s a lot that has changed for me in the past 7 years and I don’t think the Zandarium fits this exactly. I will still consider it as the container of worlds. Although, my interpretation of things have changed. I love how I still do the whole “to be quite honest” thing. In fact I do it far more often than before. This discovery kind’ve wants me to reveal more of this stuff, but I don’t think my previous self intended this.

Anyhow, I got one minute left to post this. I hope you folks have a good day/night!
