Recompense
So today we give respect to all that have abandoned their works. I don’t know what I’m doing. This ain’t a mention of me abandoning anything. Although, I’ve been running into a bit of an issue when these posts are being created via scripts. To be more accurate. I unintentionally created an oversight with the math on how it determines what the number the post should be receiving. What I mean is that for every post since the first one. I add a number to indicate the chronological order and how many there have been in general. Instead of doing the typical route of incrementing a value inside of a file to determine which number to add for a new post. I did some fairly basic math subtracting from the first day of these post in comparison to the current day of the new post. The problem is that apparently when its a new month. It resets back to 182 or something and I have to manually update the titles and what not. I thought that this would be a problem once I hit the one year mark for these posts, but I guess this issue had cropped up instead. I will need to reconsider how I am doing the comparisons and determine a more foolproof method so that I set it and forget it.
