The Peering Stones
I just realized on how different this expansion is in comparison with Heavensward. One is typically that of a harsh mountain region where as this place is harsh arid region. Actually, they are pretty similar in that they are sort’ve polar opposites in the temperature extremes.
Pillars
5 pillars of stone stand proud along an interestection of trails. For each pillar is a path that can be taken. Only one trail can be taken and each one defines a person futures. Atleast on the surface. Watching each individual picking a path with or without logic believes they are taking the best future for themselves. They even give advice on how to pick such a path. Throughout time these choices are made from an assortment of methods. However, it matters not for what pillar you choose for they all lead back to one singular trail. That singular trail finds itself a dead end and in turn becomes the inevitable fate for all who reach. Some may believe they can prevent it or extend their destiny. However eventually all succumb to its path.
End
To be quite blunt, I was talking about death and how no matter what choice someone makes and how. They will always reach their demise. I didn’t really have any idea on what to do for today’s story. I didn’t even start of with an idea and realized that I needed to make a “story”. As such this is a prime example of me attempting to grasp onto some idea that might just work when in reality it wouldn’t.
