Lamp Post
You know I kind’ve wonde what was the most people to be on this single lamp post. I don’t care if people did it properly or not, but it would be interesting to see a huge amount of people clumped together. A weird thought to say the least.
Oh yeah, I noticed that there was a fan festival event for FFXIV happening in late July of this year. Apparently, they are doing a pre-purchase approval thing to enter a raffle to see if you would be granted an opportunity to purchase a ticket before it goes out for general sales (If there would anything be left for the general populace.) Its set to place in USA Nevada, Las Vegas. I happen to have some family members living in that area and if I do decide to attempt on attending the place. I wouldn’t have to worry about the cost of renting a hotel.
Although, the $199 price tag is a bit discouraging to say the least. I have the money, but I don’t know if its worth while to do it. I haven’t attended a convention in years (oddly Las Vegas was the last time I went to one). The other problem being that I don’t have anyone to attend it with. Seriously, whats the point of going to a convention without atleast a friend or two? Let me put this way. I want to go, but concern on whether if its worthwhile to attend.
I have a few days to deliberate to see if I actually want to purchase a ticket before the opt-in deadline. While I could just put in an application, but they do request for people to do it only if they intend to purchase one. Not only that, I should also contact some of my family members living there to see if they have any plans going on in that time frame so I don’t interrupt them.
