I’m sorry, but I find it quite the wonder when I see all of these floating islands with organic objects. I just don’t understand behind why the Allagans wanted these things to exist. Experiments? I doubt that they wanted to experiment these objects that are implanted into the ground. Its possible that they just want some aesthetics to rival their own little flagship.
Experiment
For every experiement there’s always a new truth realized. Although, it doesn’t mean that one will understand it right away. A lab working on a new experiement and clashes with the many obstacles it takes to achieve progress. With sweat and tears out of the way, they get to bask in the results of their experiemnt only to be dumbfounded by its draconic results. They obtained nothing of value and are strucked with despair. All the effort for this experiement shall bring forth the demise of the lab in its entirety. Even if the experiement was an inconsequential one. It was clear that they must bend the truth for those above to be satisified. As such with great regret. They muddied the results of their experiement and hope for a better future. Fortunately, their lies struck gold from those above and where showered with joy. Glad that their mistruth brought success they set forth of another experiement that was just as grand as the one before. However like the last they couldn’t find a statisfactory result. Time and time again they repeat this process till a point arrives where they no long seek for the truth but on how to fatten their bellies even more. Until one day those above had decided to descend down into the lab and watch their experiement unfold before their very eyes. Desperation stuck in the minds of the lab and sought for excuses to prevent them from seeing their experiements, but perssuasion would ever succeed. Eventually, an inspector arrives in their lab and becomes aghast of their work. Shamed of their results they decided to hand over the truth of their experiements. Once all was lost the folks of the lab came to realize of an important thing from their experiements. Their experiements was presented in a shallow light that prevented them to see a truth that they had originally seeked all along.
So yeah, I literally hit the 10 minute mark with this story. I have no idea what I was trying to achieve with this one. I decided to go along with the word experiement and thought it would be funny if I tried to experiement with some random idea. I don’t even understand what I was trying to achieve with this one. Its partly due to yesterday’s results where I went beyond the 10 minute mark and was too concerened about not trying to achieve something within 10 minutes this time. Now that I have typed it all out and can actually think for once. Something that I tried to achieve with this story was something where a person was so concerend about failing one task that they would do anything to make it seem that they are always achieving it. Wait… I feel like I’m talking crap about myself. Considering the fact that I’m always concern of the 10 minute window it could be argue that for how poorly paced this story was. It could be a testament of how I make these stories in the first place. Honestly, having now thought a bit more regarding on what a lesson could be. There’s a fair amount of avenues I could’ve taken to make this story a lot more interesting.
I’ll say this much. Sometime in the future when I feel fairly confident for my improvised way of making stories. I’ll consider increasing the time limit on making them so that I don’t always have to worry about making a story on the fly. Anyhow, I think this time around the main problem with this story is that theres isn’t a set and clear direction in mind. It seems the only way to realisticly improve on that front is by giving myself time to think before typing the story, or you know constantly making these short stories every single day to the point where I can instinctivly make them. I don’t expect the latter part to happen anytime soon. (Maybe after a few months of doing this.)
That’s all I’ll talk about today. I literally didn’t get much sleep again yesterday due to me reading an entire book in 6 hours before trying to sleep. May you all have an adventure for the next day of your life!
