Alpha Comm Beacon
Kind’ve weird that this is the only quadrant to possess some form of beacon. Maybe I didn’t look too closely, but all I can say is that I’m unable to delve further due to the fact that the servers are down for the 6.3 patch till about past midnight for me. Its a tad unfortunate, but I’m fine with it. I already knew it was coming and got a screenshot before it went down for the day. I’m mostly waiting for patch 6.35 since it will give us a new deep dungeon to mess with. I’m fairly intrigued for it. Now onwards for today’s shoddy story of sorts. (I’m going to talk crap about how terrible these stories are going to be for the rest of my life. I might just regret doing this in the long run.)
Forest
A forest like many others in a vast world. Unlike the vast world though, A dark secret broods beneath the trees. Oddly, enough the forest as a whole evolved over time to ward of this threat to the world such that any random bystander may view it as any normal forest. Unfortunately, through the passages of time people have begun to chop and pillage the bountiful forest. While the trees were unable to fight back due to their constant battle of the beneath. The critters and wildlife of the forest rose up and defended the trees. However, no matter how much the animals fought to defend. More and more people came to waste the lands they fervently care for. communication between the two groups always fail due to a lack of understanding between each others. Centuries past and eventually the trees could no longer ward of the threat. Almost like opening Pandora’s Box. One unfortunate fella slew a great and ancient tree that was already strugging to fend of the beneath. In that moment the person immediately recognize of their grave mistake, but it was already too late. The trees were unable to keep the balance in check and eventually were all destroyed by the dark presence.
So yeah thats today’s story. There’s one thing that I want to mention to those that ever read this. I don’t really plan out too much on what the story is going to be. Currently, the plans are to just take a word or phrase and just build off of it. I have a rather vast reservoir of ideas, so I shouldn’t struggle with coming up with a story. The main challenge is being able to put it on a medium that isn’t in my own head. As with yesterday’s post. I made a story about “journeying” and an apple on a table. There’s no limits as to what story I could work off of. I could even just make a story off of a descriptor like the color blue. As such don’t expect a theme of stories to appear consistently. I could sit there and talk relatively similar plots, but I don’t really intend for that to happen.
Lastly, this story took about 8 minutes for me to make. I don’t intend to make a story in exactly 10 minutes. Its only purpose is to act as a hard cutoff point to prevent myself for trailing off. I want these posts to not take multiple hours to make since I do make them daily. I ideally want them done in about 30 minutes to an hour at worse.
