Today we have moved to a new zone called “The Churning Mists” its quite the place. In fact, I haven’t even explored the entire map of this place. I think this is the first case of a zone that I haven’t fully explored (Outside of Stormblood that is). Its honestly a fairly neat place. Although, I feel like it falls victim to the same problem as the Sea of Clouds had. The story here only really had three major locations. Which is partly why I never explored the whole place. Another key point is that none standard player would be able to explore the whole thing due to many of the Non-Main Scenario quests locations are not traversible on foot. Well they are, but you have no means of reaching them without flight.
This zone will definetly be an interesting one to explore for the next few weeks.
Tomorrow, I will be hiking a good chunk of the day. Its projected to be 30 degrees Fahrenheit (or about -1 degrees Celsius) in the morning. It will improve later in the day, but regardless it ain’t going to be fun. Atleast thats what most people say. Its currently about the same outside right now for me and with the clothing I am wearing. I gotta say I’m a bit too happy about the cold. I might have to take off my jacket later in the day tomorrow since I might get too warm to the point of sweating.
